NEET Counselling 2022 Process

The National Testing Agency (NTA) asks the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) to conduct NEET 2022 Counselling sessions. The complete procedure will be conducted online in three rounds. The first two rounds will provide seats to eligible and Qualifying candidates under 15% All India Quota in central and deemed universities, such as AIIMS, AFMC, JIPMER, AND ESIC.

The third round of counselling will look after the candidates to provide admission apart from the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. This round is a mop-up round.
Additionally, the relevant state authorities will announce the NEET counselling 2022 dates to allot 85% state Quota seats (SQS) also. Candidates can check more information on neet.nta.nic.in. 
 

Documents required for NTA NEET Counselling 2022

Candidates should keep the following documents with them in advance so that the seat allotment procedure goes smoothly when dates are announced.

• Signature 
• Category certificate 
• Latest passport size photograph
• Passing certificate of Class 10
• Thumb impressions on both left and right-hand fingers 
• Citizen certificate 
• Postcard size photograph
• PwD certificate 

Eligibility for NTA NEET Counselling 2022

Candidates meeting the following requirements are eligible for NTA NEET Counselling 2022-

• Candidates who passed NEET 2022 exam
• Applicants who register and pay for the counselling procedure 2022 via the MCC portal
• Candidates who are registered for 85% state Quota counselling via the state portals
• Candidates who qualify for NTA NEET (15% All India Seats AIQ in deemed universities)
