HSSC ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
| Age Limit | 18-25 Years of Age |
| Educational Qualifications | Candidates should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognised Board or Educational Institution.
Candidates should also have Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects. |
HSSC SELECTION PROCEDURE
There are multiple tests in Haryana Police Constable Recruitment which are as follows:
- Knowledge Test
- Physical Screening Test
- Physical Measurement Test
- Document Verification
The Knowledge Test is important as it carries 80% weighatge. It is a Mutiple Choice Questions Objective Type test. The total marks for the exam are 80. The questions are basic in nature which are asked from varied range of topics such as General Awareness, Current Affairs, Reasoning, Mathematics, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture etc. There are a total of 100 questions asked in the exam which the candidates are required to attempt in 90 minutes.
NOTE: There is no negative marking in the exam. The questions are asked both in Hindi and English.
Physical Screening Test
This test is qualifying in nature. Candidates who qualify the Knowledge Test which will be approximately 7 times the number of vacancies will appear for this test. This test is designed to check the physical fitness of the candidates. The standards for this test are as follows:

Physical Measurement Test
Candidates who qualify Physical Screening Test appear for this test which is qualifying in nature. The criteria for this test is as follows:
