SSC CGL

CGL stands for Combined Graduate Level Exam. It's a yearly test managed by the board to choose people for different Group B and Group C jobs in the government. Every year, more than 7000+ job openings are announced for the SSC CGL recruitment. Over 10 lakh candidates sign up for this process, making the competition tough. To be eligible, you need a bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

SSC CHSL

The SSC conducts the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSL) for people who have completed their 12th grade. This test gives them a chance to get a government job. Each year, the SSC opens up over 4000 job positions through the SSC CHSL for roles like Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA), Data Entry Operator (DEO), and Data Entry Operator, Grade A.

The selection process for SSC CHSL involves 3 stages. The first stage is a computer-based exam with objective questions, followed by a descriptive paper in English/Hindi for the second stage. After passing these two stages, candidates have to take a skill test for final selection. 
 

SSC GD Constable

The abbreviation "SSC GD" stands for "Staff Selection Commission General Duty" examination. This exam offers job opportunities for individuals who have completed their 10th grade. The selection process includes a written test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), and Medical Test.

SSC conducts the SSC GD exam each year to hire suitable candidates for the roles of Constable (General Duty) in various forces such as Border Security Force (BSF), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), National Investigation Agency (NIA), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles.

Apart from that, SSC also conducts recruitment for the position of Junior Engineer in different departments.
