What is CDS Exam: The Combined Defence Services Examination, commonly known as CDS is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) twice in a year. Candidates who get selected in a written exam followed by an interview round are recruited into the Indian Military Academy, Indian Air Force Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Officers’ Training Academy. The exam is held twice a year, usually in the month of February and September.

CDS (2) 2020: Exam Pattern
The UPSC CDS recruitment process involves two stages. First is Written exam and second is SSB interview. Candidates have to qualify each stage to qualify for the final merit list. The detailed exam pattern is given below:

Interview Exam Pattern
CDS (2) 2020 interviews are popularly known as SSB interviews. After the declaration of written exam results according to given preference and qualification candidates are called for 5 days SSB interviews. SSB interviews involve 2 stage selection process
