D.R Kaprekar

Dattaraya Ramchandra Kaprekar was an Indian recreational mathematician who explained multiple classes of natural numbers, including the Harshad, Kaprekar, and self-numbers. He also invented the Kaprekar constant, which was named after him.
He published widely without formal Mathematical education and was well known for his role in the recreational mathematics field.
 

Aryabhatta

Aryabhatta was the first person to state that the earth is spherical and orbits around the sun. He also mentioned the accurate number of days in a year 365. Additionally, he established the formula (a + b) 2 = a2 + b2 + 2ab. 
He contributed to the place value system by using letters to indicate numbers and describe qualities. 
 

Srinivasa Ramanujan

Srinivasa Ramanujan was one of India’s well-known mathematicians. He contributed to the Hardey-Ramanujan Littlewood circle method in number theory and offered work in elliptic functions, partial sums, continued fractions, infinite series, and products of hypergeometric series.
 

C.R Rao

Calyampudi Radhakrishna Rao is a popular Statistician. He is popularly known as C.R. Rao and has major contribution to his “theory of estimation”. Satyendra Nath Bose

Narendra Karmarkar

Narendra Karmarkar is famous for Karmarkar’s algorithm. He introduced it in 1984. The algorithm is used for solving linear programming problems. He also established an ISI highly cited researcher.
