The fellowship targets graduates and young professionals and focuses on 12 key areas: Health, Rural Livelihood, Food Security, Environmental Protection, Education, Water, Technology, Women’s Empowerment, Self-Governance, Social Entrepreneurship, Traditional Craft, and Alternate Energy.

Over the past 12 years, 640 Fellows have significantly contributed to community development across these key areas. The program has impacted more than 1,50,000 lives through various grassroots interventions and community engagement in 20 states.
SBI Youth for India Fellowship 2025: Eligibility criteria
- The candidate must have completed a Bachelor's degree before 1 October 2025.
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen, a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan, or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
- The candidate must be between 21 and 32 years of age on the day of commencement of the program.

STAGE-1 (Registeration & Online Assessment)
Fill out the registration form and begin your Online assessment. During the assessment, you will be asked to provide a detailed easy-based response in which you can share your story, perspectives, intention to join the Fellowship, and overall worldview.
The Personal Interview stage is where the esteemed panel evaluates the applicant's characteristics and suitability for the role. This stage is designed to help the selection panel make informed decisions based on factors beyond academic qualifications and work experience and gain a deeper understanding of the person.
