The NEET MDS 2025 is conducted for candidates who wish to be admitted to the master's of dental surgery programs. The eligibility criteria are decided by the Dental Council of India (DCI) with the approval of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).
Students will be offered around 6,228 masters of dental surgery (MDS) seats in 259 dental colleges across India for 50% All India Quota seats and 50% state quota seats, deemed, central universities, ESIC, and private universities.
To appear for the same the candidates must have a BDS degree from a recognized institute. A provisional, permanent registration with the State Dental Council (SDC) or DCI by 30 June 2025. Candidates must also have a completion of a one-year compulsory rotatory internship by 30 June 2024 of the academic year the candidate is taking admission.
The candidates who want to submit the application for the same will have to pay application fees according to the category they belong to i.e. candidates from the general category will pay Rs 3,500, while students from SC, ST, or PWD category will pay Rs 2,500 as application fees.
