Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the notification for UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test 2021.
The official notification for UPSSSC PET 2021 was released on May 24, 2021.
Candidates can apply for UPSSSC PET 2021 exam till June 21, 2021.

All About - UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2021
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) conducts Preliminary Eligibility Test every year for the recruitment of candidates to various Group 'C' and 'B' posts.This is a preliminary test which is conducted at one time for various government posts.
Through this exam, UPSSSC basically shortlists candidates for the mains exam which are conducted for Group 'C' and 'B' posts.
Candidates who qualify this Preliminary Eligibility Test are eligible to appear for the Mains exam of various posts in Group 'C' category.
The scores that candidates get in PET are very important as candidates are called for various mains examinaion for different vacancies on the basis of the score they secure in PET.
The score that the candidates get in PET are valid for a period of one year.
Candidates who have passed class 10 can appear for UPSSSC PET exam, however they will be called for the Mains exam depending on the qualification required for different posts.
UPSSSC PET Exam Pattern
UPSSSC PET is conducted offline.
There are a total of 100 questions that are asked which carry a total weight of 100 marks.
The total duration of the exam is 2 hours.
There is negative marking in exam and 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer.

Candidates can apply for UPSSSC PET 2021 from May 25, 2021 to June 21, 2021.
The steps to be following for applying for the exam are:
- Go to the official website of UPSSSC i.e. upsssc.gov.in
- Go to the Live Advertisement Section on the homepage
- Click on the notification titled- "Under Advt.
No: 01-Exam/2021 start from 25/05/2021"
- Go through the instructions that will appear on the screen
- Click on "Apply"
- Click on "Candidate Registration"
- Fill in all the details as asked in the form
- Pay the application fee is applicable and then submit the form
- Download and save the form for future references
