Message writing
Message Writing : Format
HEADING– The first step in creating a message is to capitalise and bold the phrase "Message." It is spelled out in the centre of the line. This is done in an effort to grab the recipient of the message's attention.
DATE– On the left side of the page, the date is written. The writing uses expanded form.
TIME– On both the left and right edges of the message, time might be written. However, it would be better if you mentioned it on the right side to make good use of the available space.
SALUTATIONS- Prior to composing the message's body's primary content (body), it's crucial to address the reader.
It looks to be courteous and aids in avoiding uncertainty.
BODY–The main body of the message is where you give the person you are unable to contact all the information that needs to be communicated.
The body of the letter should be brief and to the point, focusing only on the most crucial details.
Don't use lengthy sentences.
SENDER– Once you've finished writing the message's body, write your name—or the name mentioned in the question—on the left side of the page. This makes it easier for the reader to recognise the message's sender.
Points to remember while writing a message
- Enclose the message in a box
- The word limit should not exceed more than 50 words.
- Use language that is appropriate for the reader, please. A message aimed for children that uses more complicated jargon will be useless.
- Don't exceed the word limit (50 words).
- Don't include any further details. The message must be succinct and direct.
- Think before you write. So that you don't forget the necessary details while writing, simply compile a note of all the crucial topics on a rough sheet (the last page of your answer booklet). This assists you in keeping a sequence, which is crucial.
- Make sure to proofread your work twice for spelling and grammatical errors. They have markings.
- Use a pencil that has been sharpened to place the message inside a box.
- Avoid using lengthy sentences in the message's body.
- The use of indirect or reported speech must be followed.
