- The Siachen Glacier, located in the Karakoram range of the Himalayas, is India's longest glacier.
 - The Gangotri Glacier is one of the Ganges' primary sources. It is also one of the Himalayas' greatest glaciers.
 - The Bara Shigri Glacier in Himachal Pradesh feeds the Chandra River in the Lahaul and Spiti valleys.
 - The Zemu Glacier is the largest glacier in the Eastern Himalaya, and it lies at the foot of Kangchenjunga, the world's third highest peak.
 - Drang-Drung Glacier: Drung Glacier is another name for this mountain glacier. It is situated in Ladakh's Kargil district.
 - Milam Glacier is one of the Kumaon Himalaya's major glaciers. This glacier is a well-known hiking location.
 - Shafat Glacier (Parkachik Glacier): This glacier is also known as Shafat Glacier. Nun and Kun are two mountain peaks that rise from the glacier.
 - The Pindar River is fed by the Pindari Glacier, which is located in the upper parts of the Kumaon Himalayas.
 - The Chhota Shigri Glacier may be found in the Western Himalayas. It is a tributary of the Chandra River.
