To tackle this situation, CBSE Class 12 students and teachers have put forth their requests to the National Testing Agency to reschedule JEE Mains Exam 2021 so that students do not have to make a choice between the two exams which would imply them taking their board exam and missing out JEE Mains exam.
JEE Mains 2021 is scheduled to be held from 23rd February to 26th February, 15th-18th March, 27th-30th April and 24th-28th May, 2021. It is important for the students to clear their Board Exams in order to be eligible for other competitve exams. If the dates are not changed then students would be under high pressure to take board exam and leave JEE Mains exam which could mean loss of one academic year to many students. However, NTA Officials have listened to the demands of students and have affirmed that students who have board exams on 24th May will not be given slots for JEE Mains exams on that day. NTA will collect the roll numbers of the students who have Bio-Math combination and have applied for JEE Mains 2021 and will ensure that they are allotted slots on days other than 24th May.
