CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has begun the registrations for Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024 from today. The Board has started the application process for two scholarships with a deadline of December 23.
These two scholarships are-
Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2024 Scheme: The Board has asked for online applications for the Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Children who have passed Class 10 in 2024 from CBSE and studying in Class 11 from the CBSE affiliated Schools.
Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2023 (Renewal 2024) Scheme: Online applications for renewal of CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship X awarded in 2023.
The students who want to apply for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024 and Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023 (renewal) can visit the official website i.e. cbse.gov.in.
The candidates may note that the application window for the same will remain open till 23 December 2024. The applicants will have to provide bank details, such as the bank name, account number, RTGS, NEFT, IFSC code, and bank address. All applications are required to be signed by the applicants, as unsigned applications will be rejected.
The scholarship value is Rs 500 per month. This scholarship is open to single girl children who have passed Class 10 in 2024 from CBSE and are currently studying in Class 11 in CBSE-affiliated schools. CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024: Eligibility criteria
- The scholarship is exclusively for meritorious single girl students who are the only child of their parents.
- Applicants are required to have scored 60% or more marks in the CBSE Class X Examination.
- Students are required to be currently studying in Class 11 or 12 in a school affiliated with CBSE.
- The tuition fee of the school should not exceed Rs 1,500 per month during the academic year.
- A maximum 10% annual increase in tuition fees is permitted for the subsequent two years.
- NRI applicants are eligible, with a tuition fee cap of Rs 6,000 per month for schools abroad. The scholarship is open only to Indian Nationals.

- Then click on the scholarship application link available on the home page.
- Register yourself and fill out the application form.
- Upload the required documents and submit the form.
